Research

Tommaso’s research will deal with decision-making problems that existing organizations face to improve the sustainability of their supply chains by taking interventions of Circular Economy. The first goal is the development of an indicators system for measuring the circularity degree of a supply chain, based on its capacity of reducing waste streams, taking into account environmental, economic and social perspectives. Furthermore, based on the study of the state of the practice in the European context, he will study and highlight the drivers of the adoption of Circular Economy practices in supply chains, together with the consequences that could be expected from such transition.
