Secondment update: SEERC at SREM

As part of the PROCEEDS project, SEERC has started their secondments at SREM. Adrian Solomon was seconded over the summer of 2021 at SREM in order to work with their innovation team and wineries from Fruska Gora. Their joint work looks into analysing what circular economy practices would be preferred by the local viticulture sector (i.e. pallet production from vineyard wastes, oils, vinegars, fertilisers) and how the implementation of circular economy can be better facilitated form a multi-stakeholder engagement perspective. To achieve this, the multi-stakeholder engagement strategy developed as part of PROCEEDS is being utilised as scientific methodological foundation. Additionally, the team is working towards boosting research capacity in the regional Wine Institute co-founded by the Faculty of Agriculture of Novi Sad University and SREM by investigating research excellence actions and strategies.
